(YTRT) Youth Trauma Response Team - FHS

For 40 years, FosterHope Sacramento has provided a wide range of programs designed to help children, youth, and families find stability, healing, and hope. One of these vital programs is our Youth Trauma Response Team (YTRT), now entering its seventh year of serving young people affected by criminalization, homelessness, trafficking, and involvement with Child Protective Services. Through compassionate, trauma-informed support, YTRT helps youth heal, develop meaningful accountability, and build safer, more stable futures—without adding further trauma through punishment.

Last year, thanks to donors like you, YTRT delivered 47 Thanksgiving meals to families in need, including youth living from park to park and in vacant shelters. This holiday season, FosterHope will serve nearly 150 youth and their families, and YTRT’s goal is to provide at least 40 families with delivered, ready-made Thanksgiving meals this November.

Give YTRT Families Thanksgiving

A gift of $125 provides a Thanksgiving meal for a family of four.

A Meal, a Moment, and a Message That They Matter

  • Feed a Family of Four

A gift of $125 provides a complete, ready-made Thanksgiving meal for a family of four. Every donation brings us closer to serving at least 40 local families this holiday season.

  • Remind Youth They Matter

For a young person facing hardship, a Thanksgiving meal means more than food. It is a heartfelt reminder that they are seen, valued, and remembered by their community.

  • Delivered with Care

Many of the youth and families we serve do not have reliable transportation. Our team volunteers its time to personally pick up and deliver each meal directly to their door.
