Fill a Backpack Campaign

Campaign Dates: July 9, 2026 – August 7, 2026

FosterHope Sacramento is launching a community-wide Fill a Backpack Campaign to help ensure local youth and families have the school supplies they need for a successful start to the new school year.

Our goal is to collect enough supplies to fill 100 backpacks by August 7. Community members, businesses, partners, and supporters are encouraged to participate by donating new school supplies, backpacks, gift cards, or sponsoring a backpack.

• Loose Leaf Paper

• Pencils, Pens & Highlighters

• Folders & Binders

• Crayons, Markers & Colored Pencils

• Scientific Calculators

• Headphones & Earbuds

• Water Bottles

• Gift Cards for School Essentials

Donations may be dropped off during normal business hours. No appointment is necessary. Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Business & Community Participation

Businesses, organizations, schools, churches, and community groups interested in hosting a collection drive or becoming a campaign sponsor are encouraged to participate.
